How to Stop Nervousness
Scenario: "Dude, I'm so nervous. But I'd feel less nervous if I stop thinking about my nerves! Yay!" Remember that sales meeting that demolished you because of your nerves?
- You tried your best to be less nervous.
- So, you suppressed those feelings.
- But, you still ended up sucking, anyway.
Then, you lost the sale, the dream, the yadda. It's a-o-frickin-kay, because it happens to all of us. How can you fix your nervousness when you're experiencing those anxious situations? Simple:
- Notice how much you suck right now.
- Imagine what would happen if you sucked 10x more.
Congratulate-yo-self. You just boosted your sexy confidence.
Wha?!
Manipulate your brain by tricking the sucker. According to Psychology Today:
If you suffer from shaky hands and sweaty palms, try to make them shake and sweat more. You will notice that they will stop shaking and sweating. If you are able to increase the symptoms, you can control them.
Why Oh Why?
You'll see yourself becoming less nervous because:
- You'll release that nervous tension that you've bottled inside of you.
- You see the worst-case scenario as: 'Hey-it-ain't-so-bad-if-I-do-so-bad!'
That's reverse psychology at its finest. Whenever you feel like you're sucking, keep this bad-boy in your repository:
I Suck X 10.

Great article.
Take it a step further and visualize how you'd handle a worst-case-scenario and that'll ease your nerves, too.
Fear of the unknown paralyzes; figure out how you'll deal with falling on your face and you'll handle it with more grace and ease.
Keep rocking -

Thanks to Trizle’s Andrew Trinh: The Accounting Game Book is Here!...
It begins with a simple question to Andrew Trinh, founder of business consultancy firm Trizle: “Any good accounting book?” His response: The Accounting Game.

THANX! This was extremely helpful with a sales pitch i have in 10 minutes!!! Shaking my hands even more worked miracles LOL ... I'd also advise people to not fear their nerves so much, it's an instictive reaction meant to give you edge!
when it comes to nerves....don't show'em but don't fear'em!

so i HAD A COMPANY, A SUCCESSFUL MAGAZINE, I MANAGED UNDERGROUND BANDS, ORGANISED EVENTS, MADE VERY GOOD MONEY, GREAT SOCIAL LIFE, WAS MARRIED, HAD MY AUTONOMY...IN LESS THAN ONE YEAR I WAS DIVORCED, LOST MY COMPANY, MAGAZINE SHUT DOWN.
I COULD NOT GET MORE NERVOUS THAN THIS.. HOWEVER, I MET SOMEONE WHO CALMED ME DOWN, A COUPLE OF FRIENDS I TRUSTED, I SLEPT MORE (had more time too, obviously) , AND STARTED REALISING THAT I WAS WORKING ON PURE ADRENALIN... NOT HEALTHY... CONSTANTLY ON THE PHONE !
SO NOW, AM SLOWLY BUT SURELY STARTIN A PRODUCTION COMPANY FOR ARTISTS, MODELS, PHOTGRAPHERS ETC.. AND HAVE ORGANISED ABOUT 3 SUCCESSFUL EVENTS IN THE PAST MONTH OR SO... AND AM REGAINING ALL THE SOCIAL ACTIVITY I HAD LOST WHEN I WAS LOCKED UP IN MY OWN MONEY MAKING WORLD..
PLUS AM 27..
SO I THINK I HAVE SOME TIME TO RE START :)
