  2. His company makes him fill out X, Y, Z docs, go to A, B, C meetings -- which collectively takes weeks.
  3. He doesn't get a response until two months later.

He gives up the idea.

Company stays stagnant -- sucking.

How to Incorporate Change?

This:

  1. Change.
  2. Ask questions later.

If Employee A thinks changing XYZ will help the company perform better:

  1. Employee A should do it, immediately.
  2. Company will revert the change later if necessary.

Done.

What happens?

  1. You get a freakish bunch of motivated employees looking for ways to improve your company.
  2. Your company starts improving constantly/freakishly/until-the-end-of-^!@$@!-time.

Additionally, you save on people-power, resources, and $$$ that the traditional change implementation freak usually takes, and put it to better uses.

"But wait! My people are DUMB!"

If you think:

  • "Oh, they don't know what to do!"
  • "Oh, they'll mess up the business!"

...then you probably didn't hire the right people in the first place.

Employees know how to improve certain areas of your business more than you will ever know.

(Just think to the last place you worked, and what you thought would've made it better.)

Change.

Ask questions later.
